S’MORES DARK BREW

Shawn’s number one pick of 2024 is this campfire tradition in a can that’s heavy but not too sweet. Here’s our toast to this decadent dark brew:
Eric: Untitled Art. Brewery was founded in 2016 in Waunakee, WI with a business model reminiscent of Jone’s Soda where each different flavor beer comes with an “Untitled” art piece or photo on the label. So far, Untitled Art has 12 staple beers, as well as 2 to 3 seasonal brews that are constantly coming and going. Other than non-alcoholic beers, they also have a wide range of different CBD seltzers if you’re looking for something a little less hoppy.
Shawn: I haven’t tried them all yet, but so far the S’Mores Dark Brew is my favorite non-alcoholic beverage I’ve had from them yet though it very well could change when I get my hands on Untitled’s Chocolate Milk Dark Brew!
As my number 1 pick for 2024, this is the kind of beverage I see myself drinking around a campfire on a brisk October evening under the stars. Instead of roasting marshmallows over an open flame, you’d find me drinking a pint of the S’mores Dark Brew while warming up my toes.
Eric: Sounds cozy!
Shawn: It’s incredibly rich and packed full of chocolate notes without coming off as too sweet, though I would still refer to this as a dessert beer due to it’s almost cream-adjacent fullness. The aftertaste is very nostalgic, leaving my tastebuds with hints of chocolate and marshmallow. The body is an incredibly dark color with a nice graham-cracker colored head to match it’s flavor profiles.
This is the kind of six-pack you bring to a party just to make sure everyone gets to try one. One of these dark brews leaves me satisfied, while two of these leaves me full and satiated. Three, now that’s just gluttonous but don’t mind if I do!
Eric: After Shawn put this on top of his list for the year, I couldn’t wait to try one. My immediate remark while pouring it out into a glass was “Wow! THICK!” and I gotta say, after one sip I was down with the thickness. This one-of-a-kind porter/stout simply has to be tried at least once. So decadent, I considered adding a scoop of ice cream. Looking forward to trying the rest of what Untitled Art has to offer in 2025!
